How to properly prepare for import or export: a step-by-step guide for business
Preparation begins long before the border.
Basic steps:
  1. Check the goods: composition, purpose, technical characteristics.
  2. Correctly determine the UKG FEA code.
  3. Prepare an invoice, contract, packing list.
  4. Check for permits and restrictions.
  5. Estimate the customs value and supporting documents.
  6. Plan the route and delivery terms (Incoterms).
These actions meet the requirements of the CCU (Articles 257, 335, 336).
The main thing is not to leave these issues "for later".
Because at the border there is no time for corrections.
A prepared business passes customs calmly.
An unprepared one is expensive.
